Our coolege was famous for creating merit students, highly qualified administrator and politicians also. Bollywood heros and heroins also.

Course Curriculum Overview

All subjects as major one i. e. Physics, Chemistry and Maths, thre exams per year i. e 1) In August. November and December. Monday to friday Physics and chemistry practical two days each. Saturday only theory periods. In practical viva-voice and practical exam after completion of 3 to 4 Practicals.

Placement was on purely on merit list. There were no excuse for placement as lecturer. uring placement they wold have to take lectures in presence of senior lecturers or H. O. D.

Meetings were orginised by leader of student with Principal regarding technical issues. Annual gathering were in the month of December longwith Khrismas day. Wewere doing all arrangenents for chief guest, for serving with flowers, breakfast. and cup of tea.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure was, you can pay monthly, quarterly or half yearly as tution fees. Any how admission fees were to be paid in advance. there was cashier window an d we were in line to pay the fees every month on or before 10th of every month. If not paid during the prescribed time then you had to pay the fine.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have not opted for any education lone as my father was government servant so I could be ablele to pay the fees in time. the college was giving opportunities to student who were extra briliant and not able to pay the fees.

Campus Life

Yes college life was wonderful and exciting. Gender ratio for faculty was 5:1 i. e for 5boys one girl. I was enjoying parties and workshop s. There were all types of cast students but we all were enjoying cultural programs, in drams girls were participating without any hesitation because of race, religion sexual orientation, politics and economics status because we were in one and only one category of student.

Hostel Facilities

No. Because I was residing nerby college and could attend the periods within the time. some of my friends who were staying in hostel those who came from outside the city. The averge retal was Rs. 200 per month.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes there were seniors students in our college but they were not harrasing to us for writing their home works. If we have any difficulty in solving any maths problem, senior will help and guide us.

Admission

Submitting mark sheet with application form, june 15th1969. Iwent to college to take the admission form by paying Rs. 100 to cashier. Huge line was there there. I have to wait for half an hour. Then I fill up the form and attached marksheet of matriculation, school living certificate, and submitted to cashier. After 10 days admission list was there on notice board and my name was there in the list.

Monday to friday 4 lectures and 2 periods of practicals. the average age was about 35 to 40 years for senior lecturers. They were giving the repetion of theory during practical period. lecturers having post graduates degree or PHD QUALIFICATION. Some lectures were held by the people who were working in industry as leading official.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.
