MY COLLEGE LIFE EXPERIENCE

The only thing which i did not like about my college is Attendance fine.Students had to pay in case if they do not meet their attendance. Also, college didn't not allow any student to enter in the college after 9.30AM that was the college timings. I would want to give this feedback to my college management that they should avoid this and try to find other ways to change the students minds so that they should start attending the classes or to be regular in college.

CEET - Common Engineering Entrance Test (For Students in Haryana Only). It was my personal interest to study more about computer science in both fields i.e. Software Programming and Computer Networking and that is the reason i opted for this course. The admission process was same like other colleges. We had to attend the counseling and based on my rank i got this college.

It was a 4 years course and we had 2 semesters in every year.In first year, we had common subjects that were studied by the students of all streams or branches. In 2nd, 3rd and 4th year we got detailed subjects for programming and networking.

I did 3 months of training in IT department of Indian Oil Corporation limited.They didn't provide me any stipend. Many companies came for the hiring and i am unable to collect their names.

Placements and opportunities is average in this college but still students were placed in reputed companies.I don't have the exact count of the students placed. Highlighting the name of few companies which came for the campus hiring:1. TCS2. L&T3. Infosys etc.

I used to celebrate the cultural events as this is something where i am more interested and capable of doing some cultural activities like dance and singing. We used to celebrate college annual function and on all the Indian fests too.

Fee structure is feasible. We used to pay INR 50, 000 per year which is very low in comparison to other colleges. As mentioned above, our college is affiliated by MDU, Rohtak. However, college pays the examination fee and registration charges to university for each student and rest college charge for their services.

I am aware of one of the facility - free book bank for class toppers.Every students wanted to be on top to avail this facility which created a computational environment.

It was really a great experience to enjoy the campus life. Campus is a place where we learn many things apart from books knowledge. We used to have GD's that gives you the confidence and makes you capable of presenting yourself in front of the large audience.

Hostel facilities were good too. We got free Internet facility there, 3 times of food and the quality of food was also good.

I felt very comfortable with my seniors because they were friendly and cool. They used to treat their juniors like good friends and they seemed to be very helpful.

Exam Structure is something that was decided by the university. Our college is affiliated through Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak and all the colleges which are affiliated by this university, used to get the exam date sheets and structure from there only.Exam structure was not too tough, it comes with 8 questions and students have to choice to attempt any 5. Each question carries 20 marks.

As far as faculty is concerned, they were very good in nature and had very good teaching experience. Moreover, few faculty members were ex students of the college. Hence, we have had friendly environment and they were very cooperative.
