Faculty is not good and fees are too high wrt other colleges

The course curriculum and structure is maintained by MAKAUT itself but some of the faculty members are irresponsible and doesn't take calsses give sudden assignments and take sudden tests during the semesters without even teaching anything to make the student much more inconfident and then gives an average number or less number with out any explaination and nit fairly

Placement for cse and it department are good enough but same can't be said for the core departments internship are not prpvide by college it has to be done by our own

Freshers, edge,bsamaritans, anakhronos, envisage, marathon, electica, blood donation camp,cloth donation camp,techno india premier league,techno india super league,techno footbal tournament. Edge is a technical fest participated by all and every college eastern india containing events of robotics and games and many more with out that others are litterary and cultural fests.

The fees are very much expensive For 1st sem it is 80000 2nd 65000 3rd and onwards 56000 The sem fess are too high and also the college does not provide any library facilities or anything at all There are charges for attending fests The fess can be paid both offline and online.

No the college doesn't offers any scholarships opportunities their is only place for tfw catagory to avil at low fees

Gender ration for cse and it department are equal but in mechanical their is male dominance robotics is too popular here with geekonix as its clud the college is only famous because of its extra curricular activities and lavish college life with too many clubs to open up your opportunity and exposure.

Business with students going to different states and cities for their education------message to upcoming year freshers joining tmsl In kolkatas well renowned college Techno Main Salt Lake they have a contract with a pg operator Abhijit Seal who gives students room for outside far from college campus making a contract of 1year and taking the payment in advance so that they cannot leave the hostel in between the year.then also because of their bad maintainance and worsy food quality many students are forced by their health situation to leave the place with a loss of huge amount of money but can't do anything because of new place and new city. Serving stale food,not cleaning the washrooms,not letting us work on any kind of projects because of sound issue and after takong money they don't even listen to our problems. Their are various pg in kolkata in sector-4 which provide better facilities at same rate. Even during lockdown this people broke our room locks are shifted our belongings to a different room cause according to them the flat was not theirs.so why did they even sold that to the students? And who the hell gave them right to touch our belongings without our consent? Moreover they also demanded 48000 INR for the upcoming semester now where they should be giving back our money which they have taken during this lockdown period "apart from room rent". In other places pg,hostels they take just the room rent of 3000 but here this Abhijit Seal who is said to be authorised by techno india is doing a business here taking 6000 from every students irrespective of their background. Here 50% freshers of techno india come under his grasp and make a loss of near abt 20000 per year each student. For some it may not be a huge amount but for some it may immensely affect their family situation.

Yes seniors helps us not only in study but also for the preparation for placement and other mistakes they have done in different feilds

Through state entrance examination wbjee,got selected from state councelling after getting the results after that i had to visit the college for further admission process where i was given some forms to be taken to the court for stamp and afidevit after that i gave a amount if 80000 to the college for admission which also included the first sem fee with students uniform and essentials(no laptop). Techno has the name of campassing of students for good jobs thats i why i preffer this collecge with a ranking of 14k in wbjee for mechanical stream.

There are 4 theoritical subjects and 3 practicals most of the teachers have doen phd,or masters on particular subjects. The practicals are handled professionaly but the theory class are not the maths teacher didnt even attended one class in last sem(male) in electrical also teachers give threat of throwing out copies and assignment if not behaved properly or not doing the exercises properly
