Course Curriculum Overview

3

In My Course it is mixture of both hardware and software this influenced me to choose this course according to me this course teaches not only skills but also how to solve real life problems by thinking about it they can improve it by adding and teaching more projects related to the course instead of book study and all it is necessary but practical is more important for me however clg gives time between every exams so no need to worry

Internships Opportunities

3

I actually don't have any experience about it but according to our seniors yes there are internships and starting salary is from 50k per month to clarify the tasks there are many projects we can do and college seniors also helps us in it

Placement Experience

4

After 6th sem that is after 3rd year onwards students try to get ppo i.e pre placement offer also companies visited are google , microsoft, apple , nvidia and many more for us like extc the average is around 1145000 per year right now and for cs/it it is 20 to 18LPA The placed students percentage is overall Good in my branch more than 95% students got placed last year and some of them opt for higher studies and my plan is too going to higher studies after my degree

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise I paid 4701? per year as I belong from reserved category where tuition fees is 0? Insurance fees is 701? development fees is 0? Exam and other fees are 1500? Caution fees is 2000? and alumini Association life membership is 500? now let's come to fees of my batchmates belong from other category is 85551 per year where tution fees is 15000? Development fees is 39850? Other fees is 26000? Exam fees is 1500? Insurance 701? Caution 2000? and Alumini Association is 500?

Campus Life

4

Ok so there are many fests talking about annual we got pratibimb, rangwardhan, enthusia and in technical we have technovanza in library books are accessable students can get them for some days to study and then they can return it to library classrooms are furnished with ac and all however some of departments like mechanical classrooms are still old. sports offer on a high level students compete with each other in terms of their respective branch every year also being the part of any group or commitee dont impact the student life

Admission

I Actually don't applied for any other college my preference from first was VJTI only however I do add SPIT on my 2nd preference I don't get rejected I just choose VJTI because it has a great background than any other college also it's location is quite good to get admission students must give an exam name mht cet which is Maharashtra state common entrance test through which they get admission in my course and many other once result is out the admission has to be done through cap round cutoff for my course is between 95-99%+ile depends on various factors like reservation and etc etc overall admission process takes some days but it is worthy

Faculty

4

Faculties are supportive here they have years of experience of teaching the ratio of faculty to student is approx 1:80 I liked Ms Shama mam and Shruti mam they taught me Business and technical communication and Maths I liked them because of their friendly communication with students also I don't like the Vikrant sir who teaches us Engineering Graphics they just do everything quickly and expect us to do quickly too however we are new in this field and they're experienced all other teachers are okay there are 4 exams per year 2 mid sems and 2 end sems the example difficulty is between moderate-hard and it also depends on students because relative marking is there also in a class of 10/80 students minimum fail to clear any exam so they need to give the re exam

Night Life

5

There is cafe Madras near our college we love that and is actually a good spot for hang out and in late night activities we can rent cycles and ride them in mumbai this experiences with friends are very rare so don't miss them hostels are open anytime

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.
