It is a reputed autonomous institute in the govt category of engineering colleges, and also the college with wide range of equipments and machines for practical views, as well as having a very fine status in sports, festivals etc.
Course Curriculum Overview
In my college there were 6 branches in engineering as Mechanical engineering department, electrical engineering department, civil engineering department, computer science and engineering, electronics engineering and information technology branch. In addition to this there are the department of applied science, human values, English and also the training and Placement department, there is abundance of faculties in every branch with permanent as well as guest faculties.
Placement Experience
Very good bcoz for non core branches nearly all the Cs and it department students got placed in reputed companies like TCS, WIPRO,AMAZON, FLIPKART, etc. For core branches it wasn't too easy to get the placement but with gate and other ways many of us got placed in bhel, sail , iocl, ongc, coal India etc
College Events
It is full of enthusiasm and creativity, college having many councils and forums for extra curricular activity like PFAC(photography and fine arts club) the members of pfac are giving the responsibility to decorate the college in each festival, literary council(full of creative people having knowledge and talents in many fields), cultural council(for dance and music), sports club, and many other functioning departments.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes I come from a poor economic background so up govts scheme to provide scholarship was very helpful. You need to fill the form that will be informed by college authorities and submit them. There is no problem I heard about not getting scholarships a needy person and at a fixed time it always credited to ur account.
Campus Life
KNIT have a great and wide infrastructer for engineering with training and Placement division, a very nice student activity hall having fully operating AC, a well advanced mechanical department digital classroom, and very big playgrounds for cricket and football, hostels having separate mess with ac and each hostel having it's own water cooler and purifier with one or two courts for games.
Hostel Facilities
Yes I have opted for hostel and it is really a life long experience of everything in hostel, the infrastructure was sound and good but they became advanced in our final year, very friendly workers and the safety and security of hostels were very good so opting ?????? is the best option to really realise ?????? life for a student
