Course Curriculum Overview
An excellent, Curriculum is designed for the course and monthly tests are conducted in each subject and the scores are Part of the composite mark sheet at the end of every semester examination is from these monthly test and the lab work done by every student and is reflected in the composite mark sheet.
Placement Experience
The placement is almost 100% for students who don’t study further here or abroad. The placements are through an interview fixed by the department head and almost everybody gets a job and begins his career
College Events
A lot of exhibitions are held in the college from technical and say flower shows are also held where a lot of interaction happens with technical and managerial heads of many an industry and even the alumni in those industries who are very warm and share the advances made in the industry. They are normally held. Over the weekends and huge participation is seen as even alumni take part actively.
Fee Structure And Facilities
100000, Per annum in 1992. Expensive on those times as grants were withdrawn by the Govt to the college in those times most of the colleges. Got Govt grant for each student but the same was. Withdrawn for VJTI as it choose to classify as a private college and not a Government college.
Fees and Financial Aid
No scholarship or educational Loan was opted by me. 90% are male gender and the huge campus is very very energising and refreshing with a huge playground for a lot of sports activity. But the huge Library and the labs are the place where most students spend their time learning and mastering the subjects and a lot of research material is also available.
Campus Life
90% are males. Also a very hectic and robust campus life with a Very tight schedule of labs and lectures and over the weekend a lot of sports and other activities such as demonstrations of the latest techniques by the industry to students in the campus or student go to the industrial Sites and see for themselves the usage of robots and advancement in technology. A lot of debates and other skills competition are also held.
Hostel Facilities
Yes.Most Convenient as it is in the campus and saves a lot of travel, Time which can be utilised, For studying in the library and interacting with resident professors who stay in the campus and are always helpful to guide and advise after College hours to good students. Simply excellent. However the hostel. Maintainable is poor and needs to be upgraded urgently even today.
Alumni/Alumna
An excellent alumni who are in touch with the faculty and college administration and also help in upgrading the labs with funds from their industry as research work is done for their problems
Admission
Merit List. The first merit list is put up and the date of admission is mentioned. After the candidates are all called and selected for the various courses they opt for them for the seats vacant a Second list is put up, And the same, Procedure is followed. A total of six merit list have to be put up as students opt for other colleges like IIT/ Medicine/UDCT.
Faculty
Excellent. The faculty comprises of excellent resident professors as well as stalwarts. From industry who are like visiting. Professors and connected in the industry to tell us the latest advancements in the industry and incorporate the same. In the curriculum. The faculty works in close coordination with the industry.
