Prajin's Review On TKM College Of Engineering - [TKMCE], Kollam

My college is very good in technical and cultural aspects. It is ranked 2 in Kerala. The facilities are very experienced. There are all facilities which a students wants. You can grow your technical and management skill. Also College management are very cooperative. One disadvantage is that area wise it is not very big compared to IIT and NIT.Overall it is very good college to study.

I took Kerala entrance examination. Since the coming generation is dependent on electronics and also there is no field without electronics. In each apect of your life you can see electronics moreover I like electronics only top rank holders will get this course in our college. There was an interview to know your attitude. If you get good rank you can get admission.

Electronics and communication was my course. I liked digital electronics more. The electives I chose is VHDL and Real time operating system those were very interesting.

There was no formal internship any how we had two industrial visits one is to Radio station another is to kairali TV station to know how they are operating and their procedures.

Around 70% of students got placed. But main problem is that majority are IT companies. I too was place in IT company Mindtree core company's are very less company's which came are TCS,Mindtree,L &T ,Shoba developers,Oracle etc.

There was college technical event named as conjura where we showcase different technical events. This is all India fest. Students from different colleges all over India qill participate. Also there is cultural festival where different competitions will be conducted on dance drama etc. Management fest will be conducted along with cultural fest.

It is very feasible It's just 6000 Rs per semester. It is not at all expensive since our college is aided fee structure is is feasible. Also the hostel fee is also feasible it will come around 3000. Since there are many scholorships provided by college we will also get fee confession. Also there will be exta curricular fee which will come around 1000. Compared to other colleges It is very much feasible. In ou college there are students from all categories.

There are various scholorships KPCR,CBSE scholorships etc. Also students can take loan from any bank. I had KPCR Scholarship.

Campus life were ausome. Also almost all type of sports were available and it was very much active. Also there were dance club,debate club,IEEE,ISE etc. These were very useful to students.

It is too good. Rooms are good.Also the food quality is great. The food menu is accord rding to the choice of students.The averagr rent is 3000per month including all.

There is active alumini assosiation in our college. They conducts various events that will be helpful to the students. Also they helps us to bring good companies to our college. They also discuss with college management for the upliftment of college. They were very helpful.and also they will guide us in each situation. They were very friendly.

Each semester there will be university exams conducted. This is the time where we gather together and study combinely. These days were very interesting. Also some were very hectic when the paper was tough.

Very good at knowledge sharing also very friendly Clarify doubts at any point of time. Each faculty members are very much experienced and most of them completed their PH.D in IITs and NITs. Many faculties were used to write books on various technical subjects and publish them. We can ask doubt at any time.
