Good engineering college

Effective management which ensured all adequate facilities for students. They even conduct formal dinner training for students.

The course curriculum was based on M. G University. Now, it is as per KTU. Apart from the curriculum, the college provides additional software training necessary for the current job system. This would be a plus point during placements. Also, they promote innovative projects from students and help them participate in well known technical fests. They do organize industrial visits to certain factories and sites for the students.

Placements are good for computer science, electronics, IT, metallurgy etc. Many students are recruited by reputed companies like TCS, Infosys, etc.

Azure: technical fests, sports and arts fest, basketball tournament etc. They encourage technical fests and try to empower students. They do promote cultural events and sports. The fests they conduct are usually inter college and thus students often get a wide exposure to showcase their talent.

Feasible Annual fee : rs 75000 They accept e payment. The students should have a bank account and there was an online portal for collecting fee. Later the students would get the receipt from the office. There was no additional fee that was charged apart from the caution deposit.

The students who scored cgpa above 8 had fee reductions. Those who get this scholarship are often having fee redemptions upto Rs 30000.

Gender ratio was fair with boys and girls almost equal in numbers. There was a very good library with a lot of books. There were debate competition, Ted talks were organized by some of the departments. Students from different parts of Kerala studied there. There was even a few students from Nigeria. Students from different religious backgrounds studied there. Though the institution is run by Christian missionary, they remain impartial and treat everyone equally.

Yes. It was really clean and the food was fairly good. There's also laundry facilities. The kitchen was very well mechanised and everyone wore a handgloves and mask inside it. There was non veg during lunch and dinner. Mostly it would be fish or chicken. There was also vegetable cuisine.

There is an alumni network, but it is not that active. However, students can often contact their seniors.

I wanted to pursue civil engineering and I came to know that this institution has a very good faculty and lab facilities. The faculty are mostly those who have done their post graduation from IIT, NIT etc. Also they promote innovative projects with funding. There is also a business incubator for promoting entrepreneurship. This college select candidates by KEAM entrance test or by management merit. In case of management merit, you have to have a legible score in KEAM. You will have to pay the same fee either you got admitted by government seat or management merit. I got admission in this college through management merit.

Very good faculty with student friendly behavior. They act as mentors. Some of them have prior industrial experience. Many of the tutors are graduated from renowned institutions like NIT, IIT etc. They try to impart a sense of scientific temper in students. They organize workshops related to recent trends in the respective field, conduct software training and encourage innovation that would cater to social welfare.
