Anonymous's Review On Silicon University, Bhubaneswar

Because of the attractive courses and the teaching is fabulous there, I wanted to join this college. The other reason was also that the college situated was not far away from hometown. Since it is the top college in the state of Odisha, I thought it will be good to join and after studying in the college for four years, I got to learn various things and was able to develop interests in different areas. I am also a part of the college's official dance group and was able to participate in the inter-college fests which made my college life more beautiful.

The college provides a variety of courses, seminars etc. We visited various industries in the science fest and summer internship which helped us to get the practical use which we had studied in our theory subjects. Also, the faculties there are excellent, interactive and helpful to the students and the syllabus was always completed prior to one month of the semester exams which helped us to score and learn more.

The number of companies visited this year like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, IBM, Cognizant etc. Around 350+ students got placed in the respective companies. The placement cell is very effective in our college and because of the students curriculum the placements are good here. Also, the Entrepreneur Cell is very active and conducts various seminars which is productive for the faculties and students as well.

The campus life is good there. The students are friendly and helpful. Also, there are various clubs where students can showcase their talents. There is an annual technical and cultural fest conducted in the college level only. Most of the students participate and also we get to learn many thing's. I generally participate in the volunteering and in the dance competitions (solo and group as well).

Although, the campus is not that too big but there are every arrangements of sports facility like Basketball, Football, Cricket, Table Tennis etc. The library is there is my most favorite place. It's huge and can find wide variety of books to read. The whole campus is wi-fi secured and hostels also. The labs are full of all the necessary equipment required for doing the practicals and projects as well.

Being a hosteler, I live in a three sharing room. The hostel is pretty good and the security facility is always uptight which attracts the admissions more. The hostel seats are more than enough since it includes number of dormitory.
