Good faculty and infrastructure, dissatisfying ROI

If you can't drop a year and prepare for CAT again and don't have any better college in hand then you can think of getting into BIMTECH. It's a decent college. But I would suggest you think thoroughly about your options considering its low ROI.

The curriculum also consists of 'Design Thinking' course which is being taught only in a top few MBA colleges in India. Regular GD and PI sessions are also conducted which prepares the student for placements. Excel training lectures are also conducted. Experiential learning through short term projects and three months long summer internship are given due importance.

Placements are just okay. Although some good companies like Gartner, Accenture, Infosys, Maruti Suzuki, KPMG, Marsh, Nielsen, Amazon visit our campus for final year placements, the number of jobs they offer is as low as 1-2 per company.

A scholarship of Rs. 2,00,000 each is available by way of partial waiver of fee to all the admitted candidates from merit category having 85 percentile or more in CAT/XAT/GMAT tests only irrespective of the course they are admitted in.

The college has a good infrastructure. Hostels are equipped with ACs, LAN, refrigerator, and TV. Meals are served 4 times in mess and the taste and quality of food are really good, way better than mess at other colleges. Unfortunately, Non-veg is not served in mess or cafeteria. There's a gym, basketball court, table tennis room, and badminton court on the campus to keep oneself fit and active. The library and the computer labs are built in a good space with the best facilities. The campus also has a health center for medical assistance.

It is mandatory for students to stay in hostel in BIMTECH. There are three hostel buildings inside the campus and one outside campus. The off-campus hostel is mainly for boys and the on-campus ones are majorly for girls except one of the hostels being shared by both boys and girls though they are not allowed in each other's rooms.

Although the relationship between senior and junior batch is not very close, they are there to help if needed. The alumni from a decade back and older are working at top positions in top companies today as during that time BIMTECH was an uprising and promising institute but presently its industry recognition has declined and so has the placements.

College faculty is highly knowledgeable and is from highly reputed institutes including top IIMs. Marketing faculty is exceptionally good with vast experience in teaching and industry and had served at top positions in their former companies.
