Remarks
The management of custa is somewhat bad. They don't do most of things timely. They pass the notice at the last moment and don't explain things clearly.
Course Curriculum Overview
The examinations are of two type for each semester continuous assessment and a semester examination. The semester examination contributes 60% of gpa and CA contributes 40%. The paper are usually checked by the university itself. The marks assigned are also fair. No biasing is observed till date.
Placement Experience
Placement is quite descent for Btech. It is not extraordinarily fantastic but if you have good marks and work hard. You can surely get into a very good company(For CS IT students). To the best of my knowledge there is no paid internship but professors do give internship to students on request basis. So my advice contact a professor of your died in a department of your interest and convey your request, with his time availability he will guide you work with him or give Alternative so all the best.
College Events
There are many events celebrated depending on the course. Like tech fest for engineering students, arts fest, cultural fest and many more. Apart from those there are not many fun programs or events to keep you enjoyed. The institution mainly focus on academics.

The seats are of two categories state and all India merit. The prior costs less compared to other. Seats of All India merit costs about 98000 annually and state merit costs about half of it. If you are a local of Kerala you have accessibility to state merit seats but students outside Kerala can only be admitted to all India merit.

Campus Life
Cusat is a “A”grade accredited college by NAAC. You will get a lot of leaves due to strikes. If you pass in all your subjects then you after passing from here you would be able to get a good job. Labs are good over here so you will be able to have good practical knowledge. Facilities over here are quite good. You will be able to get good exposure here. Campus is very large and there are many beautiful places to visit near by. There are lots of beaches, temples, etc. Course fee is very less as compared to college of same standard. It might become a central institute any time.
Alumni/Alumna
From the very first day you will have to face seniors ragging you, manage your flat/mess for living (mostly guided by seniors, so it's not much issue but you face heat of Kerala while looking for best accomodation for yourself), language issue as, though malayalis do communicate in English very well (credit to 100% literacy in Kerala) language gap remains because of accent and topic of discussion. The seniors are usually supportive and helps junior year students for examinations and other things.
Admission
The admission to this institution is through an online examination cusat cat exam. Then the selections take place according to the ranks obtained by the students. The higher the rank the course you wish you can take. The seats are of two categories state and all India merit. The prior costs less compared to other.
Faculty
The faculty is very helpful. They provide assistance for almost every problem. But the problem is with there systematicity and the time they take. The circulars are usually posted at the last moment and the results are also announced late. The teaching staff are also nice except some.
