Reviewing my College

College is located at a high location so the weather here is quite rainy and cold.

Course plan for every subjects are given by the teachers to the students every semester which has the syllabus for that particular semester. The professor's teach according to the course plan and the exam is also based on the course plan. If a student fails in the semester exam, he/she has to give supplementary paper.

I'm currently in 1st year so i haven't seen the placement trend but the college has a carrier department which helps the students in getting internships.

The most awaited and popular fest celebrated in the college is Uurja. This is a 2 day fest where a number of celebrities visits campus and engage the crowd. However, there are a lot more events which occur inside the campus like - Ignite, wow Wednesday etc.

A bit expensive. Every year one has to pay approximately 5 lakhs. However, the teaching quality is excellent and this college is value for money but middle class family might have problems in the submission of fees as it is a bit higher than other college.

College promises to give scholarship to the students who scores a good Cgpa in the semester exams. The amount of the scholarship is compensated in the tuition fees.

There are more or less equal number of boys and girls. Both are allotted with their hostel. Campus life is very thrilling because every Wednesday, there are a number of events hosted inside the campus in which students participates and enjoys. There are a number of sports competition which takes place inside the campus. There are societies like debate society, drama society etc which engages many of the students.

Yes, I've opted for campus hostel. The college provides a facility of first come first serve. If the rooms of the campus hostel are full, there are a number of private hostel in the vicinity of the campus. The fees of the private hostel are lump-sum same

Alumni of this college are very friendly and helpful. They visit college every semester for the guidance of the Freshers. They also help you to get internships.

The college hosts it's own exam which is called ULSAT. However, college also gives admission according to the marks of class 12th. The dates for the forms are released in month of April. if you're selected from the entrance exam, the university calls you for a process of group discussion and personal interview from where final results are declared.

The faculty of the college are highly knowledgeable and intellectual in their respected field. All of them are very friendly and helpful, they cooperate with the students and deal with their problem very patiently. The professor's are available for the students every time. They also provide the students with their email id for more help
