Decent private engineering college in kolkata

The college is very strict in academics , syllabus is almost same as that of MAKAUT but their are also some extra subjects which are added to the course's curriculum. As the college is autonomous the question paper is set by the college faculty itself.The question paper pattern is totally different from MAKAUT.

Placement is ok, atleast better than other private colleges in kolkata, the average package starts from 3.25 lpaand goes upto till 8 lpa

We have an annual college feast called Daksh and eclessia . Eclecia is the annual cultural fest of our college which is held every year during April/May.The students of Hitk and other colleges are given a platform to showcase their talents.guest performers are also invited in this fest , Bollywood singers like Monali Thakur and Farhan Akhtar have performed in this fest. On the other hand we have an annual technical fest called Daksh where Students get to show their skills and knowledge in the field of science and technology

Fees structure is feasible, almost same as other private colleges in kolkata. The overall course fee of B.tech(which I am pursuing) is around 4 lakhs. Fees is divided into parts and paid semester wise. Loans are also available for students who have some financial problems.

I have opted for national scholarship, for the application of any scholarships we neee to submit the required documents to the admin office for the verification, after the verification is done from the college the amount for the scholarship is credited into the students bank account after a few months

Campus Life is great, the infrastructure is really good of the Best in kolkata , College has it's own auditorium, a basketball court, tennis court, cricket ground and a football ground.Annual sports is held every year for the college students ,their are various clubs in the college for different co curricular activities , we have a resonance club for music , ghungroo for dance , quiz club and many more

I don't stay in a hostel, I belong from Kolkata so I travel daily to my college which takes me 25-30 mins, but there is a girl's hostel available within the college campus and boys hostel is located outside the campus

Seniors are helpful, sometimes more helpful than the teachers , they guide their juniors well and are easily approachable

I got admission into this college through my wbjee(west bengal joint entrance examination) rank.colleges also accepts students through other entrance exams like JEE main exams . Students who have a diploma degree can also take addmission in graduation courses from second year through the jelet entrance exam.
