College review of DUIET

The teaching faculty are young and have expertised in their subjects and makes the learning .

The course is similar to as that in ISM Dhanbad petroleum engineering . It is recognised by AICTE and UGC. It is specifically based on down stream defining of oil and gas and the internships provided by the college helps a lot to improve the skills and the making the students industry specific .

The college provides 100% intership to its students free of cost . And the placement of petroleum branch is fine with package of 10- 16 CTC

The Auxesis which is a techno management fest is held every year on the month of October or December . It is the biggest tech fest of upper Assam . Varsity week is held in the month of January or February it is the sports week of the college . The participation in Auxesis is quite huge .

The fee structure is very feasible each semester we have to spend only only 40 thousand on the academic and the hostel fees is only 2 thousand and 9 hundred . The college is also funded by Tequip .and there is no additional fee changes other than that .

There are various scholarships provided by the Assam govt aa well as the UGC . The university also provides scholarship to top meritious. Students .

The campus is full of greenary and is 5 km away from the city , There are two major fest ( Auxesis and Varsity week) held every year , Labs are new and with are equipped with up-to-date instruments , There is full provision for indoor and outdoor games of all kinds and for gymnasium too , Tech competition like robotics and debates occur every semester.

There is an alumni association managed by our seniors . The pass out seniors come to guide their juniors before the placement season.

I got admitted into DUIET , Dibrugarh University with Assam CEE(Combined Entrance Examination) 2019 on merit basis . The counselling process was held on 14 July and I was admitted into petroleum branch . I opted for this branch because it the most Famous branch and the branch with highest package . It is the only college for petroleum engineering .

We can assess to them on free periods or with call their numbers are included on college website. There are 6 classes held every day . And GATE couching classes are held on Saturday to the higher semester students Most of the teaching stuff are Master degree holders from IIT or other reputed universitys and the have a teaching experience of min 5 years.
