Story of my college

College management is very professional. The ranking of my college is 7 in overall in India. And the score is A. So this is one of the best college in India.

The teachers were very much helpful. They provide us great lessons and the practical classes were very helpful. I leants the solid state physics here and hope to be a teacher in near future. There are to special streams for masters in physics. Astrophysics and solid state physics. I opted for the 2nd one. I hope I can be a good teacher in the near future with all experience I gathered from my college days.

As my course didn't offer any kind of direct placement, so there were no companies there. But for other streams there were some companies to offer placement such as editor in newspapers, It sectors etc.

Various events were celebrated in college campus. They were such a stress busters for us. Such as Beyond barriers, convocation ceremony, freshers party, annual spots, technical programs etc. Many great artists came to perform there. The technical programs were truely amazing.

A bit expensive for a middle class family which I belong to. Fees structure is not so cheap. And u have to pay in every 3 months. It is really a burden for families like us. There are late fees too. And u have to pay exam form fill up fees too. There are also various fees u habe to pay.

College does offer scholership. But it alwas after one year and only one student can get that. So it was not much of a help for me.

The gender ratio is quite balanced out there. Though I guess there are more girls than boys in the college. There is no politics inside the college. So it is a good sign. The raging is strictly prohibided in the college. The students are from various backgrounds. So no problem with the economical status.

One thing for sure u can not interac with your college seniors. Everyone is busy with there own study or group. So no help from the seniors. But teachers can help u in your study purpose. They are always there to help me. The lab technitians are also very helpful.

I have to go through an entrance examination for the selection. At first I have to fill up the form. Then they fixed a date for the exam. I passed that exam. There were almost 1000 candidates. And only 45 was selected. Luckily I was one of then. Some students were selected after the 2nd list was announced. It was a dream come true for me.

There are no less than 10 lecturers available all the time. Even the Dean of the Arts and Science also took our class. They are very humble and supportive. As well as they are one of the top teachers in West Bengal. Student of one of them in Mr. Sundar Pichai, the CEO of Google. Avarage age will be no less than 45 and they all are P. hd holders from various renouned universities across the planets.
