Remarks

After, 12th I want to go to SIES for my further studies. Because I love the infrastructure of SIES. And Since I Belong to South Indian I Loved South Indian Education Society A lot. But The Admission Process is bit Lengthy But Now So Bad. Quality Of Education Is Average. And These College fests Are So Amazing.

Course Curriculum Overview

I Love To Use Computer And my interest was the same. Since I selected Computer Science. The Faculty is Good. But They Take Lecture Slowly in beginning But In Semester End they just go fast and finish the portion over a few lectures before the semester's exam. But Practical Is good.

Course Fees: INR 30000 per year

Placement Experience

After the Semester 5 exam students are eligible for Campus Interview And I Have given 3 Campus interviews.And Got Selected in 2 companies as a technical trainee in TCS and Capgemini. After Degree, I would do a job because of financial Problem

Fees and Financial Aid

College Fees Gets Hiked when it become an Autonomous College in 2019. But I Got a Scholarship From SEAT. But the hike in fees is not bearable for the middle class student. So College should Consider this point.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

The Campus Story : the lands of horror.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.

Other from SIES, I applied for the same course in Ruia college and Somaiya college. I got confirmed admission form from Somaiya college but i didn't opt for it as the fees are too high compared to SIES college. I didn't get admission in ruia college because their cutoff was high. I was eligible to get admission as my total marks in HSC board exam was 418 and the cutoff was 420 so I visited my college and had a talk with the faculty member, the faculty members guided me well and told me to bring HSC mark sheet, and fees (DD form) that's it....Read More

I've applied for VES college, chembur and pillai college, panvel and I got addmission but because of their fests and other programs I denied that college. I didn't get rejected from their but I really don't want to participate in any college fests or programs over my studies. Online registration and then filling college form was my admission process.
