A brief intro about Rggec

This college has a good infrastructure and environment also it is one of the top govt.engineering college in HP. But on placement this college has not to be decent until now. I opt for rggec through hptu counselling at baru Hamirpur H.P. Hptu announces its counselling process at its official websit himtu.ac.in. last year the counselling were held in July and I got my college on 30 July 2019 through my 12th board marks.I was quite familiar previously with this college also brother is in ghec camp at rggec so I like the college and opt for it. I had opted Mechanical Engineering. I was fantasies by the working of different machines and also automobiles . There is lack of faculty in some subjects. But other than this some teachers are decent. There is about 50+ teachers for 2000 student There were held two term exams every year each of a semester the exams difficulty varies from subjects to subjects but if you study regularly and have a decent knowledge about the subject you can score potty well.

The average fees of this college is about 30 k per semester (excluding hostels charges) the fees is quite decent as compare to other private colleges but there is also lack of sports facility which fees is also included . For girls it is half about 15 k per semester which is a good point. As such we get no information about scholarship from this college with is a low point about this college.

The annual fest were held almost every year last year it was held on November 2019 .The tech fest is quite decent and you can participate in different programs. In library there is more Technical books and engineering books as compare to others it you are interested you can go for it. There is fully cricket like games but not above the benchmark in sports activities There civil society and some others which may u can participate.

I am in the first batch which have provided the hostel. There is double and triple sharing rooms .The rooms are quite decent having a bed a study table, a chair and almirah for for your luggage and also a balcony in every room. The furniture in there bathrooms and toilet is very bad as it can't work properly which is a negative point of this hostel
