Kamla Nehru institute of technology is a government institute and one of the reputed institute in the state. First, you have to give state entrance exam i.e. UPSEE. there is no other way to take admission rather than this. After the result, you have to go through an online counselling round to choose the college according to your rank in merit list. Preferably for information technology (1000-4000).After counselling result, if you get the college, then you will be informed through Aktu website where the counselling held. Then a date is finalised, when you have to come to college with required documents and fees in the college.

Department of computer science and engineering includes three branches, CSE, IT, MCA. The faculty of the respective department is well qualified and experienced. The placement record of the department is well and good. In each semester, there are two class tests and one final term exam. Faculty to student ratio is about 1:10.

After entering the 7th semester, you will be eligible for placements. The college has a separate chamber for all your placement queries and experienced training and placement officer sits there to guide you for your placements. Generally, on-campus, Tcs, Optum, global logic, webkul, prism Johnson, and many other mnc companies come every year for the hiring process. The placement record is quite good and satisfied.

Total fees for the course is approx 339000 for four years. It is very affordable and cheap as compare to other private colleges. If your family income is below 2 lac, you Woll get a scholarship from the state government but if you are not eligible for the scholarship and are good at study, then you will get merit scholarship based on top 10% from each branch.

Campus life especially hostel life is beautiful and adorable. For your entertainment, there is three fests hosted by the college, Tvaran(sports fest), Effulgence(technical fest), anubhuti(cultural fest). There are several clubs, council and forums run by the student body, Based on your interest, you can join as many you want. The college has a library which has books on every course and some books are beyond course. Every department has its own library also.

Hostel life is the best life. The college has hostels from single-seated to triple seated. Hostels provide you bed, fan, bulb, etc. Hostel mess food is as usual, not very tasty but enough to fill your stomach. If you want to take a hostel, you can pay the fees at the admission time only otherwise, no room will be allotted to you locality is also good if you want to take room outside but in the first year, generally, it is not allowed for the students to take room outside the campus.
