Remarks

College is big enough but the students are not too good at studies also and students do more political. Good things are honors students are good in studies and teachers also come in class but not in every class usually 8 times in 10 times

I like the BCom honors course. Facilities are good enough but not great Teaching methods are traditional but teachers are qualified and good Very easy to pass an exam if u study normally but if u want to be a topper in a college u have to be good in studies.

There is no campus placement the college doesn't do campus placement but the college is well-reputed in Siliguri.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
