Remarks

The college is good and helps the student to develop so that he can go through anyof the situation calmly. Overall the college placement is on higher side. If anyone from outside Pune taked here admission, the hostel facilities are fairly good but the mess if poor.

Entrance Preview

I took AIEEE where i scored 152. Apart from which i gave IIT and state CET exam. The admissions here is by CAP round where we have to fill the forms giving the list of college and branches you want to do your studies. Later the college is been allotted depending on the merit and ranks and cutoff.

Internships Opportunities

Basically getting a internship in Oil and Gas industry is a bit difficult. I personally haven't been part of such internship. But based on some of my friends experience i came to here is that, u get good exposure about the various industries and the working procedure .Which is a bit different which bwe learn in our textbook also the latest technology what the companies prefer is also something we come to learn.

Placement Experience

2.5

In current situation there are no core companies coming for jobs but various IT companies are giving taking students , so called bulk recruiters like Infosys, Accenture, etc.

College Events

3.5

We have a variety of departmental and common events throughout the year and its always fun being a part of it. We have a annual gathering of all department where various events like singing , dancing, acting also awards ceremony based upon students achievement is been given.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee in MIT is bit on higher side, something around Rs106000/- and for NRI it is around Rs190000/-. This as compared to other colleges is high. These fees includes fees like University fees, examination fees(we have to even pay examination fees before each semester which is around Rs 800-900 each time), student insurance and lot more.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, i dont think our college provides any scholarship. But it does includes scholarship given by government based on caste and some state and central government scholarship.

Campus Life

3

Well college life is awesome. You can get all sorts of sports and events organized throughout the year . Here in our college, we have debates on technical and non technical topics in every type of events and in every departmental events too.

Alumni/Alumna

The department is mine is having good solid alumni network which do visits our campus at least once in a year. The alumni of our department do come every year in annual gathering of the department and a departmental event called SPE, Society of Petroleum Engineers., a international event.

Exam Structure

Exams are structured twice every year of the course called as semester which are 70marks each and rest 30marks are taken between the semester.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty is fair enough who supports you at every stage and also try to give student a good industry exposure by arranging internship and guest lectures.
