Remarks
One thing about our college is that any act of violence or any act of intimidation , ragging or any riotous behavior is strictly considered offensive and the students found guilty of such acts maybe charged with fine or some other more strict punishment which helps in maintain the decoram of the college. The hostel allotment committee also have a dean which have elected student members who look into the running of the mess and to check the food is of good quality.Moreover an external security agency is also provided to the students at the hostels.Our college believes in diversifying culture and thus organizes many cultural events and shows my favorite being durga pooja. Moreover all the labs of our college are digitalis-ed for an advanced learning experience.
Course Curriculum Overview
The computer science program offers interdisciplinary field of knowledge and study as one can combine electrical and computer engineering together. As studying this course I can say that the computer engineers make the computing systems more systematic and reliable for use.Coding , computer database and architecture are some other networks which have deep roots in maths , science , and electrical engineering.
Placement Experience
The placement record in my college is really high. This year my senior batch students have recorded 95% placements the highest being 28 lpa and the average being 6 lpa. Well renowned companies like IBM, Deloitte ,Tata consultancy and services and many other firms visited our college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees for my course is around 1,43000 per year which I consider is quite feasible .The tuition fees is around 60000 with admission fees of 2750 at the time of admission. The exam fees is around 1100 for all the four years . Thus the total would come to 5.34 L for four years.
Campus Life
The labs are very good and maintained up to date with the changing technology so that the student are met with less or no issues. Sports activities like football, cricket , zumba , volleyball and many other are organized by the sports committees of the college . These kind of activities help the students to gain knowledge and mix with other students.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels are very clean and hygienic with proper bed and light facility . Water coolers are also available in our hostel 24x7 with electricity. The menu at the mess offers a wide range of snacks that the young students prefer like pizza, burgers , south Indian dishes and Turkish ice creams etc. Our mess basically opens at 8 am to 8 pm from Monday to Sunday. We have celebrated many of our classmates part at the mess or sometimes at the canteen.The hostel charges with the mess facility are provided at 75000 for any regular student for single room and 56000 for double occupancy whereas the mess charges are 9000 and 10000 respectively for four months. I would rate the infrastructure on 8/10.
Admission
The admission process in our college is done by an entrance test. I have cleared JEE mains and got somewhat good scores to get admission in this renowned institute. Accordingly a list of students were prepared who wanted to get admission in different courses and according to their jee mains marks they were given admission. I was lucky enough as I was the second last student to get B.tech in computer science and that too in general category as the competition in computer science is really stiff.After that my documents were verified and all the relevant details about the college was given to me along with the brochure.
Faculty
Talking about the teachers they are really well mannered and disciplined and posses great knowledge in their respective fields. Our HOD were a little strict but that was okay because some sort of strictness is needed otherwise the children will be out of control.I am very happy that I have such teachers who are really helpful and are having highest degrees in their subject.
