Memories of mid 20's

No bad remarks as such as I have myself have passed out of it, only thing would the high fee structure over the 2 years makes it a bit expensive.

I took the SNAP (symbiosis national aptitude test) and scored 81 percentile and the cut off was 75-78 percentile. I opted for this college as it offers a course in systems and security which will help leverage by work experience of 3 + years. Admission process included entrance + GD + PPT.

Internship as such happens in all reputed MNC's like Accenture, Tech Mahindra, TCS etc. The stipend offered so far is 15-20k p.m. There are also cases when students are already final placed and they do their internship + work ex in the same company.

The placements are very good, but more inclined towards info security as that is the niche area as of now. All big 4 companies have visited the campus with profiles of risk consultant, associate project manager. Their avg package was 9 lpa. Citrix visited the campus with profile of product manager and salary offered of 21 lpa.

NEEV - EDM Fest, EKLAVYA - theater art and culture, Samaarabh - Every year at the beginning of the June session, all Symbiosis institutes on the SIC campus hold a cultural event. This popular event is a fiesta of talent on the show and also an ice-breaker. TEAM Matrix - info security domain, ISR - college social representative and many corporate and guest events.

It is expensive but we have the liberty to pay in installments. As there is so much to be done but academics is more important so you tend to miss out on the extra curricular.

Scholarship is offered for the ones who have scored exceptionally well in their graduation and no loan as such but have to pay in 3 installments for the total fees.

Drishtikon - event for debates and to increase your GK on weekly basis was organized by the seniors, SCIT - premier league for cricket and intra symbi college sports fest. As it is symbiosis international university we have students from all sort of backgrounds from various parts of India (girl to boy ratio is 1/1.5)

Hostel stay standards are very good(3 sharing basis inclusive of fees) and also the quality of the food. Just a small suggestion would be if the college mess could provide more healthy lunch and dinner. Breakfast had a lot of variety and would be the best meal of the day.

Alumni meet happens every year twice which helps us connect with the industry experts passed out of college. This opens doors to various other MNC's and gives us the exposure as the industry demands. The alumni are very helpful and guide you with the right options.

Depends totally on the semester, as we have weekly assignments and presentation on each subject. Exams would be conducted every 1.5 months those are semester based. Labs were very spacious with the latest advanced technology for the students. Its not that stress full and not that chilled out would say

The faculty at SCIT is very helpful in terms of all academic research and industry standard preparation. The average faulty industry experience is 9 years.
