Remarks
The college has a very good name and a rich history in terms of alumni. It is the oldest running Christian college in kolkata. The admission process to the bba department is very straight forward and easy. They first shortlist students on the basis of their results. Then they take a written exam followed by a GD and PI. This makes sure only the best students get through.
Course Curriculum Overview
The inhouse as well as guest faculty have a lot of experience. The guest faculties are lectures of the best institutes in the city.
Internships Opportunities
There is a placement cell in the college. We can submit our CVs to the placement cell officer who provides us suitable internships. The stipend varies according to the company.
Placement Experience
The students become eligible for placements in the 3rd semester. The highest package was 3 lac p.a which is pretty decent given the fee they charged. Almost 80% students get placements. The different companies that visited were IndiGo, ITC , TCS, Amazon , wipro etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is very nominal as compared to other colleges of this stature. They also provide scholarships for poor students. The on campus placement facility is better than most of the colleges in the city.
Campus Life
The annual fest is Caledonia which takes place in January. The bba dept has a management fest names PODSCORB. The campus has 2 libraries with a variety of books. There are a lot of clubs one can choose from and we have a sports day annually.
Interview Experience
We had to face GD and PI. We had to speak on impromptu topics chosen by the teachers . We should be sound in Current affairs and general knowledge to clear these rounds. The test questions were basic maths , gk and bst.
