Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is based in such a way that students also get an option to explore. The environment in the college overall is pretty chill and there are some days which can be hectic but otherwise there isn't a lot of pressure.

Placement Experience

The placement cell here is limited and not much opportunities are available as of now as it's a new college and it takes time to establish networks with the companies. With time, it will grab the potential and meritorius students would be rewarded.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for B.tech first year is around Rs 17,505. The facilities that are provided by the college are way more than the fees charging and since it's a new college people would like to have modern equipments as well which are provided by the college.

Campus Life

The extracurricular activities include sports, workshops and seminars. There is an aim to make students have proficiency in other soft skills too apart from academia. There are also a lot of student groups and a general consensus is there in the college campus.

Admission

Candidates wanting to secure admission in college for B.tech course is through JEE examinations. The rank in that particular exam will decide the admission into this college. I chose this course particularly for my interest.

The faculty of the college is really nice and supportive. All the teachers are highly qualified and experienced in their respective areas of study. One does not have to hesitate at all for asking any kind of doubts. Non teaching staff is helpful too.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

My JEE scores were not sufficient for me to secure a seat in CSE in any college. Although i had applied to some semi government ones like IPU in delhi and had got a seat in ECE in the main campus, i opted for this one instead keeping the fee structure in mind. Also im a native bengali so i was not willing to travel to delhi for my academics. Though i regret that decision and would not recommend anyone to settle for a college nobody has heard of when you can have a better one instead. I had been selected for NIT Agartala as well in Mechanical branch but ofc i opted for a better branch.
