Remarks
ESIC Medical College and PGIMSR are one of the well-known colleges to secure a medical degree. I worked hard in high school so that I can get admission here. Luckily I got the lifetime chance to become a part of the college since it is equipped with state of art facilities to impart standardized education. This is an overall great experience to share.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is wonderful here. I enjoy my college time. It is standardized with all the latest perspectives of the industry to let the students understand better. Additionally, the well-equipped lecture halls and conference halls make it easier for the students to focus more on the syllabus.
Placement Experience
Since I am an MBBS student, therefore, I am having a wide spectrum of opportunity open after I complete my program here. But my college offers a one-year mandatory internship program for each student with a stipend of Rs. 23000/-
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure is made as per Government norms that each student in MBBS needs to pay Rs.1 lakh as annual tuition fees. However, the choice of subject makes great changes in the examination fees every year. And each paper fees is around 3k. Well, in my opinion, it is pretty feasible to consider since my college is offering quality education, therefore every penny you spend in your academics here is valuable.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, there is no scholarship associated with our college since it is a central government college, to begin with. Additionally, it is an MBBS degree therefore there is no scope of getting a scholarship. However, there is a little bit scope of student loan which is provided by our college administration.
Campus Life
Being a medical student I often come across bundles of extracurricular activities like blood donation camp or world breastfeeding week celebration. But these are some small initiatives taken to bring small changes in students life. But our college lacks a canteen and a playground which I hope to come soon for the later generation.
Admission
I admitted myself to the Undergraduate full-time program which is MBBS and it is a 5 years program. I passed my 12th from CBSE then I sat for NEET. The quota system gets diversified paths of selection. However, belonging from the state made it easy for me and I got selected under Selection Committee Directorate of Medical Education office, Tamilnadu that comes with 65 seats.
Faculty
The teachers and professors are offering their best to nurture the students to the fullest. Not only they help us with our chapters but they are there to help us out whenever we are in doubts about specific other topics.
