Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good, with a variety of subjects and different theoretical as well as practical classes. It's not very hectic, with the focus on attendance not very high. The subjects were interesting, of course, and I enjoyed the topics.Examinations are held every semester, but sometimes the publishing of results is delayed.
Placement Experience
Placement numbers aren't very high. Not many organisations or companies visit the campus, and the students who get jobs usually do that by searching themselves. There is a little placemen, of course, but it isn't too significant. Of course, despite the disappointing statistics, the college is constantly improving in this regard.Internships are provided, however, with many students getting internships in reputed firms
Fee Structure And Facilities
The cost of my B.A. course was about Rs.45,000, which is affordable. Infrastructure is good, and although there are many areas in which improvements can be made, it is fairly good still. So I'd say the fees is definitely feasible considering everything.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities are regularly held and are popular among the students. The laboratories are there, but they need to be developed a little. The gender ratio of make to female students is about 60/40, but there isn't any discrimination. There are workshops and competitions held and people participate a lot.
Hostel Facilities
There are about 4-5 hostels on the campus for boys, about 2-3 hostels for girls. The infrastructure is most hostels is average. It isn't the best in terms of quality, but it is decent enough to live in. Hostels are good, but could be better.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors and alumni are helpful. The University has some alumni who are very successful in their respective fields, and they provide some inspiration as well as help in case it's required. Seniors are always there if we need them, and they are helpful, especially in terms of the study materials and exams and what to do wuth free time!
Admission
I got into the University on the basis of my 12th board exams. It has a good reputation out here, so when the time came for admissions, I decided to come here. I asked around a little bit, and dabbled on the internet to determine if coming here was a good idea, and after considering everything, I came here.
Faculty
The faculty are well-qualified to teach in their respective fields. Some of the professors are really helpful and guide us well, but that isn't the case for the entire faculty. Many are not accessible and don't care much, but there are some very good teachers who make the difference between just passing an exam and actually understanding the topics.
