My College Review

The college being a government institute is lagging in some of the context . Our authority is working hard to improve our college situations . We have a good green campus and lovely teachers. Our seniors are very helpful too . They will help you alot in your career .

The college is affiliated to Burdwan University . The course structure matches with the latest course syllabus approved by UGC . What I feel is our curriculum needs is the addition of industry courses so as to give students an industry exposure. The exams are held twice a year and for total of 6 semesters we have proper lab practicals . The college faculty focuses more on practical development of students.

Being a normal degree college the college placement situation is not so good. It is not new for our college only . The students are more focused on giving one day exams and government exams . Most of them often think of pursuing higher studies too . The college does not offer internships too. Our college students attain internships through online platforms .

The fee structure is very feasible for our college . Our college is a government college and the fees is kept very low considering the financial backgrounds of the students . The fees for the year is around 3000 INR for Bachelor of Commerce . Apart from this college offers scholarships to the students as well. Their are various scholarships offered by the state government too.

Regional festivals of Bengal are a great joy in my college . We often celebrate various Jayanthi of renowned personalities . The sports competitions are organised purely by the seniors and we mostly have outdoor games like football and cricket . Our college has drama club which organises nukkad and short play on social issues too.

The college offers admission to the students on the basis of marks obtained in class 12th examination . A merit list is prepared on the basis of marks obtained in class 12th . The college faculty is really nice . They are highly qualified and graduated from top institutes . They are experienced in their respective fields . Their approach towards the subject is just commendable . They are a little strict about studies . They focus on proper development of skill. Moreover they are like a friend to us as they help in solving most of our problems.
