Course Curriculum Overview

The course is designed in a holistic way keeping in mind the practical view of the topics too. The course material could either be purchased or all the books are available in the library itself so we could issue the books from there too.

Placement Experience

There are no placements offered by the college as it being the government institution, the faculty and management focus on giving the education to the students and do not take efforts in placing them post the completion of the degree.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I am paying about 2,100 rupees per year for my course and it does not include the addition amount of admission fee and the security deposit which is refundable at the end of the course. I think it can be afforded by everyone.

Campus Life

For the extra curricular activities, a lot of events are organized in the campus which kept us busy. The students union organizes inter-departmental activities too. The cafeteria is spacious which is nice and serve good food.

Admission

I filled the application form and waited for the merit list which was out in about 25 days and I got the admission in the first list itself so I went to the campus to take the admission and submit the fee.

Faculty

The faculty are nice and warm. They take interest in teaching us and have the entire design ready as to how to take the classes and what topics are to be covered in the particular class which is something I appreciate.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
