Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is well designed with major schools of literature and ample exposure to the various subjects and language development. The syllabus is very much comparable to most curriculum in Indian universities. A lot of focus on marks obtained in the exam is there, and the exams are announced timely.
Placement Experience
You can find your own internships and the professors are of great help as they do at times help with the application and such. There is some scope for improvement here as placements can be offered but since this is an arts course most people opt for masters.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees for the first year is Rs. 20,000 and for the entire three year program the fees is 60,000 Rs. The fee is quite low as compared to other bachelor of arts programs offered. It includes the lab, exam and library fees.
Campus Life
Sports like Basketball, Tennis, Badminton, etc are played and students often go to state level and beyond. NSS and NCC are also quite active. The male to female ratio is very healthy and the management does not deter interaction between the genders. The often promote healthy discussions and group activities.
Admission
The admission process is extremely simple. Most of it is offline, as you have to go to the college to collect the prospectus and complete all the formalities. You just need to fulfill the basic eligibility for the courses and submit your documents and the fees.
Faculty
Lectures are held regularly and attendance is very well maintained. 75% attendance is mandatory, and irregular students are punished. On Average, the faculty is quite good. The professors have all at least cleared NET or SET examinations and most of them have PhD's or are doing their PhD's.
