Course Curriculum Overview

Course of BCOM (Hons ) is of 3 years duration program. The course is structured well in order to provide a compete set of information in accountancy and commercialization with the recommended books written in simple language so that it is easy to understand.

Placement Experience

There is no direct placement but ample of opportunities available for us after the graduation in BCOM . The interested students find the jobs in various sectors. The most preferred sector is Charted Accountant and CS while students get the opportunities in banking sector and various other government services.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees of the college is very feasible .It can be easily afford infact it seems to be somewhat cheap considering the unique teaching and various outstanding facilities provided.I have to pay around 3,500 per year which sums to be a maximum of 15,000 for the whole duration of course.

Campus Life

Seminars, workshops , conferences and research project activities are conducted on recent topics , laws, developments and innovations. We are facilitated with a large auditorium for various cultural events and fests organized by the college every year in which we are provided a platform to showcase our inbuilt talent. The college organizes sports and tournaments for indoor games like caroms and table tennis and outdoor games such as Badminton, Cricket, Basketball, Volleyball etc. every year .

Admission

I have got admission in the college on merit basis . First of all I had applied for the application in online mode with all the scanned documents and submitted the application fee after submission of form with payment of application fees of 200 through axis bank challan fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria of passing 10+2 with 55% aggregate for honors and 30% in normal graduation . After the preparation of merit list based on qualifying examination , admission began followed by counselling round.

Faculty

All the faculty members are experts in accountancy and administrations. They are very much dedicated towards their student's future and give their best for bright future opportunities for us . Their focus is on each and everyone of us and they never get irritated even after asking 100s of doubts. Teaching methods are unique with all the modern tools and techniques , IT technology, audio video aids etc with most of doubts cleared in class itself.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
