Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is decided in a way to make us ready o out in the outer world. There were enough practical lessons for us. There were also industry visits to get us exposure. We learned a lot from the experts that arrived to give lectures.
Placement Experience
Around 12 companies visited our college during our final year, but all of them were offering low packages and the range was from 75,000 per annum to 2.2 lakhs per annum.But the training and placement department has been building up for the past one year and the students are being given extra coaching to develop their skills.
College Events
The chief guests are mostly those who are the alumni of the same college, who are now in a good position. So, if you are a believer that bright students can perform well no matter what the college they study in, then this college is a good choice.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees of 2l is moderate. because we get a lot of exposure in the college. The campus and the placement counselling you get here is worth the fees. There is also mess available but they are charged differently.
Campus Life
The library is worth mentioning as there are plenty of books to enhance knowledge in a particular subject. Also, there are plenty of books for the postgraduate students too, but normal literature and novels are hardly ever seen on the shelves. The classrooms are spacious and well-ventilated, with 3 fans and 2 tube-lights per classroom. The canteen food is good and I never found it tasteless.
Admission
one has to pass 10+2 along with the exam TNEA. One needs to have General Machinist, Electrical Machines and Appliances, Electronic Equipments, Draughtsman Civil, Auto Mechanic, Textile Technology) with any one of the Engineering related subject to get admission.
Faculty
They teach best of their knowledge. They put maximum efforts into teaching the students, and they are well experienced. Teaching staff are well qualified and help students to learn. It is the second best college in our city.
