Course Curriculum Overview
In this college, all the basic subjects are covered and the elective subjects are up to the students which they have laboratory facilities in campus and experienced trainers for teaching the same. Teaching with the Live and updated technologies are present in the college. The candidates have to write 3 periodical tests (Internal Exams) which are then uploaded to the Anna university website.
Placement Experience
Scholarships are provided to top ranked students as encouragement & education loan facilities are supported by the administration. If anyone is seeking to develop an internship program the guide is designed to assist the candidate with that process. Also, Mary Willis, the Coordinator of Internships and Professional Experiences for the Jordan College often visit the college and discuss about their internship program development.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The college fee is INR 20,000 per year. But only in the first year of graduation, the candidate has to pay INR 31,000 including bus fare. Government scholarship is available for 10 students in a class according to their ability The fee is affordable for middle class people, since it is feasible and worthy for paying.
Campus Life
Technical symposium, Traditional functions, sports day & College day functions are always conducted once in a year.. Students are encouraged to participate in the function to improve the Communication skill ,self confidence and coordination skills. Separate block is available for the machine lab and the electrical and electronics lab. There is also a wide lecture hall, a good canteen facility, and a large size library for the candidates.
Hostel Facilities
This college has its own hostel facility inside the campus. They are having separate hostel for the Girls and boys with security. Mess food is also good with moderate cost and works 365 days a year. Most of the students like to have food in the mess only. Hostel is with all facilities to stay.
Alumni/Alumna
The Alumni provide assistance to students to find part time jobs and help in recruiting students in renowned companies. The alumni has recently decided to felicitate ten renowned alumni of the college in various walks of life as academics, administration, multinational companies, fine arts & sports. In this college, both Alumni and senior students are helpful to juniors. The training and placement cell staffs are in contact with our alumni.
Admission
The candidate has to apply for counselling at Anna University using +2 marks. When he/she receives a confirmation letter from Anna University.,they have to attend the counselling at Chennai. They are having the counselling code for Mookambigai College of Engineering as 8128. Once they are selected, they have to pay the fees in the college.
Faculty
It has good faculty members for lectures. They are very helpful to the students and are well qualified with a good knowledge of the technology and trending. They also give the candidates a good industry exposure. The course curriculum is useful, and a faculty training program is also given every month in this college.
