Course curriculum of the college is very competitive and it is amazing to see how everything is updated every year according to the new trends. Also the way the course is structured in every semester it is very accurate.

Placement Experience

Placements of the college are also quite worth it. The management coordinates with many top companies and they shows interest in the college and participate in recruitment process. The salary offered is also good.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure of the college is not at all expensive, it can be afforded by students who are coming from even weak financial background. This fee structure does not burden anyone and that the reason the number of applicants are always high.

Campus Life

College conducts many cultural fest and apart from these yearly events, the management organises multiple events like teachers day, independence day and many more. These extra curricular events help us building more memories.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network of the college is maintained well. There are many events which are specially organised for the alumni's where they come and share their valuable experience with us and how did they take their journey further.

Admission

I choose Mahadevananda Mahavidyalaya college in particular as my elder cousin was a pass out from this college and the level at she is now is amazing. The college accepts the students on the basis of their scores in 12th grade.

Faculty

College faculty is what makes this college best from others, the college is operating from year 1968 and hold a good experience in teaching students. All the faculty members are very helpful and knowledgable.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

You need to get atleast 40% for getting admission to this college. It is on a merit based system. The exams occur every 3months internally and 6months externally. The website is too poor though it is a good one for only admission purpose....Read More
