The Mahadevananda Mahavidyalaya college is a centre for quality education and the ones who are looking for good courses and college options can definitely consider this college as good faculty with less fees is all you need.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is very interesting and the subjects are not that tough. Most amazing part of our college is that we don't struggle at the times of our examinations as we already prepared well in advance via surprise tests and presentations

Placement Experience

Job opportunities are not that great in the college. The college has a few companies that come for hiring but the top companies involvement is pretty low. The job roles offered are great and the salary is also average.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is extremely affordable and to be honest it was one of the reasons I applied for this college. Being an oldest college and affordable fees is a rare combination so I took it and I am happy with the decision.

Campus Life

The college has a very strict student grievance cell and if anyone faces any issues regarding inequality they can report it and immediate actions are taken against the student and the issue is resolved in no time.

Admission

For taking admission in this college the first and the foremost step is to fill the application form and submit all the questions carefully, one needs to keep a record of the application form along with the form fee receipt and after that when merit list is released the admission is granted accordingly.

The faculty of the college has been the greatest asset and they have always added and preserved the value of the college by imparting the best knowledge to the students. They are extremely helpful and kind.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

You need to get atleast 40% for getting admission to this college. It is on a merit based system. The exams occur every 3months internally and 6months externally. The website is too poor though it is a good one for only admission purpose....Read More
