Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is comprehensive and student-friendly. There is Financial accounting 3, Auditing, Indian Financial System and Financial Marketing Operations, Financial Management in the syllabus. Project work and Environmental studies is also part of the syllabus.

Placement Experience

Due to dwindling job opportunities, there is less and less placements. Internships are also not available. A student has to personally look for jobs after finishing college or think of further studies.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The tuition fee for my course is Rs 400. There are other fees as well. There is development fee, session charge, registration fee, admission fee and sports fee. All the payment is made semester-wise.

Campus Life

There are numerous sports and games like Table tennis, carom, chess, football, volleyball, cricket and athletics. The college offers facilities and privileges to N.C.C. There is stipend and free studentship for students.

Admission

I got admitted to the college since I preferred an accounting degree. There are 58 seats out of which 33 are for general candidates. I needed to have a minimum 40% in aggregate and 50% in the concerned subject for admission.

Faculty

Our HOD has several degrees to his name. He is also an Assistant professor alongside. Mr Debabrata Das the HOD is a competent and has taught our class a few times. He is a good influence on us and he makes lively and interactive.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
