Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very good. There are a lot of interesting subjects like Tax, Audit, Financial accounting etc. Apart from that there are additional subjects like economics business studies etc.

Placement Experience

Our college has a placement wing that prepares students for interviews. they organize mock sessions and they help students build their CVs for interviews. the college also provides students with internship but the stipend is low. Majority of students go for masters.

College Events

All festivals are celebrated in our college. Freshers' and farewell are also hosted. There is also an annual picnic done by the management where the whole batch goes together. Cultural programs are also held.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is very affordable. I paid a total of 7000 for three years. This just included tuition fees. Hostel and food was separate. The fees is payable on a semester basis which makes it easy for students to pay installments.

Campus Life

Our college conducts a lot of extracurricular activities for the personality development of students. there are music groups and dance groups that perform at cultural events. Our college also has. big sports ground.

Admission

The eligibility criteria for admission in B Com Honours is to score 60% in +2 from a recognised board. Students must also have any of the following Mathematics/Statistics/Accounts/Economics as a compulsory subject.

The faculty of our college is very highly qualified. They are very dedicated teachers and very nice people. They encourage students to bring doubts so that they can help them out. They also give good notes.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

1. Students generally get eligible for campus placements from the 3rd semester of the M.Sc. course. 2. Deperments like Biotechnology,Botany,Zoology have placement support. 3. Companies coming to campus like TCS,Wipro,Deloitte,Biocon,Pfizer. 4. Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

This college is morning college, so I had a lot of time to study the content and engage is other cocurricular activities like singing or guitar. There is no exams as such, however people will have to apply through the portal and have to pay a very small fee for registration.
