Remarks

The Collage is located in the foothills of Dauladhar Range (Himalayas). Climate wise it is also good. The Collage is in its developing stage but in all and all, it is good for those who really want to study.

Course Curriculum Overview

Mechanical Engineering is the best to trade according to me. I prefer this trade because I love machinery. The faculty is highly qualified. Some teachers are Phd. holders. There are also very helpful.

Class Size: 52Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Different companies offer their internship. Students also join this internship. Students also make projects like pubg buggy, robots, etc.

Placement Experience

Placements start in the 7th sem. Different companies take the exam for placement. As college is new the placements are not that much good. But you can take off-campus placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for boys are 30000 per sem. For girls, it is 15000 approx. Many scholarships are also provided.

Campus Life

The campus is very attractive and wonderful. The library and computer labs are also there. Different clubs are also there ( sports, drama, etc.) Smart classrooms are there.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel rooms are very awesome. The food quality is also very good. Pg rent is 5000 approx per month.

Hostel Fee: INR 20000 per year

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Environment of my college

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.
