Course Curriculum Overview
There are a number of courses available in this college. There are departments of History, Economics, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Sanskrit, English, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and many more. Students have a wide variety of courses available to choose and learn.
Placement Experience
The placement department of the college undertakes the many activities to achieve the desired results and set targets. It conducts Pre-Placement Test in each and every department (Final Year Students) which contains the rounds of Aptitude, Technical, Group Discussion and Mock Interview. In-plant training or internships for students are provided in industries during summer and winter vacation.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee in the college is also found to be very feasible. It is easy and possible for all students to pay it without any difficulty. Every student has to pay the fees in a year to year basis. Each year has two semester? for about six months of each. The yearly payment of fees includes the fees for both the semesters. It is also very affordable to all students of every stage. Students who aim to obtain a good career are benefited through this.
Campus Life
There are many extracurricular activities conducted by the college to keep the students engage themselves in our activities also and not only to studies. Sports grounds are available for buys to take part in sports activities. They also participate in inter and intra level college competitions. The labs in the college are very helpful for students to obtain physical experience.
Admission
To apply for UG/PG courses in Meenakshi College for Women, Chennai Candidates has to directly approach the college to collect an application form. Once the application form is filled Candidate has to go to the specified address to submit the Application form with required documents. After reviewing the forms students will be called for the next admission process.
Faculty
Most of the teachers are superb in their teaching with more knowledge in the subjects. Some are helpful and understanding. Few staffs were also well versed in their particular field of study, which were very helpful to us to gain more knowledge practically.
