Course Curriculum Overview

You will be dumbstruck if I tell you that their syllabus started with the basic of class 6 theorems ....sometimes I literally felt that it's really very basic to study in graduation but in last when I call for the placement,recruiter ask me a question which was based on class 7 maths. And then I understood that this college syllabus were just perfect... They had everything that a student ever need to know about maths

As I wanted to pursue master degree in maths I didn't take placements very seriously but I went for one company's interview and got selected there with a salary of 30k per month At that time it was a very big amount of salary.... On an average 60% of my classmates got good job in this placement mela

College Events

Basic necessities were fulfilled by the college... We never faced any discomfort in the college We were so addicted to our teachers and classes that skipping college was not our cup of tea.... Facilities like CCTV, power backup system,smart class, language lab, science lab ,multi gym Auditorium, career counselling cell were provided to us

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure of this college never appeared like a headache. I Paid just 16900 rupees for my entire degree....in this fee I got the pleasure and feel of studying in a glorious college As the fees was very low I got opportunity to study other language courses available at that time

Campus Life

Maths quiz was my favourite among all the activities we had in a college whether it's departmental based or university based.This college bought a huge change in everyone's lives... I was not knowing that I will love this college this much at the end of our degree... Girls like Durga Puja Diwali Saraswati Puja was celebrated here

Admission

After passing my exams I deliberately waited for this college form releasing date. In one week or two I applied for this college after getting selected for the admission I was bit confused with my subjects as I heard that in this college, faculty of maths as well as physics were the bestt and both of them were favourite, but lastly I chose maths.

Faculty

As I told you earlier Faculty of maths was best among the all departments faculty members ....they were just awesome..... we used to have one hour of lecture period and when that one hour passed I don't know..... we often got mesmerized with our teacher knowledge about the subject... there were just our idols

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
