Course Curriculum Overview

They are lacking behind some of the topics and having some of the unwanted topics which has no use in today's scenario. I can say that they need to work a lot with their syllabus... they should add some more points like about the vedic history or about the ancient time to make their syllabus complete,fuller and knowledgeable.

Placement Experience

Unfortunately we have no placement as well as internship opportunities in our college.... as this college only focus about completing our education in providing us our degree... they do not look at the placement related issues.... I really wish that in future days our college will provide some jobs offers to the deserving student.

College Events

There are different facilities available for the students of my college....facility is like library, laboratories, seminar room, canteen, computer practice Centre, common room, generator facility, waste disposal management etc are present here for our welfare. In few days our college will also get equipped with smart classes for our better learning and understanding

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure of this college is very very very less even a student with his pocket money is eligible to pay his or her fees here for a year. As a one year fee I paid just rupees 2700 in my college which is very much low.

Campus Life

We have several extra curricular activities happening in our college...we celebrate Jamini Roy birthday very enthusiastically ....we celebrate her birthday just like a festival. Other than that several competitions and events of dance and music occur here.

Admission

Admission was based on the academic marks got in class 12. I got 90% in my 12th with PCB I heard about this college a lot and my financial status was not very good, I applied to this college online. On the basis of my marks I got admission in this college.

In my opinion facultyy member of this college are better than all the other facilities we get in the college. They are very talented and very educated in their respective fields. The student teacher ratio of this college is not very good hence teacher gets very very little time for solving every student doubt.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
