Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum for B.A. English is quite simply laid out. We have been taught all the great literature subjects and grammar topics in depth. The exams are conducted on semester basis and there are 6 semesters in total.

Placement Experience

The college has its own placement cell. Multiple companies come from all over the place and hire deserving candidates. Approximately 60-70% students have been placed through the college and basic pay starts from Rs.7,000/-.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees for the first and second semester are Rs.3,420/-. For the last semester, the fees is Rs.3,120. The fees is nominal as compared to most of the colleges around here and maximum number of students don't need any kind of scholarship.

Campus Life

The college has a lot of sports, dance, activities and other kind of events that interest all the students. The college has a nice infrastructure and good facilities that make you fall in love with the place very easily.

Admission

The admission is based on the marks attained in class 12th. The college has reserved seats for SC, ST, and PD - 22%, 6%, and 2% respectively. The college releases the list of selected students on the basis of merit.

The faculty is kind, patient, and understanding. Every teacher teaches us the subjects with great depth. They help us solve all the queries without feeling pressurised or annoyed. The faculty is the best one I have ever had.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
