Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very well constructed keeping in mind a stress-free schedule for the students, The course is of three years and as there are two semesters in a year, there a total of six semesters.

Placement Experience

Great placement opportunities are provided to the students, the selection procedure of the students by the company is 80% on the basis of the interview they give and 20% is on the basis of the student's academic performance.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is very much reasonable and it can be easily afforded by students coming from both rich and poor families, even though the fee of the college is less, there is no degradation in the quality of education or any facility provided.

Campus Life

There are various clubs in our college with many student committees in each club, these clubs help in organising various events in the college. These events are hosted under the supervision and guidance of the teachers.

Admission

Getting admission in this college was relatively very easy, I had to first apply to the college by filling the application form present on the college website, then I submitted the marks scored and a merit lists was prepared on the basis of the marks scored.

Faculty

We have really great faculty members, who teach us really well, they encourage in asking as many questions as we can so that we learn and understand better, many practical classes are also conducted so that we learn well.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Companies coming to campus like TCS,Wipro,Deloitte,Biocon,Pfizer. 4. Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
