Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is extremely simple and similar to all other course. Since the course pursued here are post graduate courses. Duration of courses is of 2 years and all the semester based including projects.

Placement Experience

The placements in our college is satisfactory. The training and placement cell is really great in our college. This cell guides students from time to time about how to prepare for the aptitude tests and interview rounds of the company.

Fee Structure And Facilities

If facilities, infrastructure are taken into consideration then I believe that the fees of this college is really feasible. The approximate fees for the courses pursued in this college is 40,000 for M.Sc and 8000 for M.A

Campus Life

The extra-curricular activities are really encouraged a lot in this college. There are several technical events conducted in our college in which students should participate as this improves interpersonal skills.

Admission

This is a college where post graduation degree courses are pursued.So, the basic eligibility for admission in this college is that student should have a bachelor degree. The application can be filled online or offline.

Faculty

This knowledge is shared with students effortlessly in a very interesting manner. The important point about their teaching pattern is that the teachers here explain the concepts with a combination of theoretical and practical explanation

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

1. Students generally get eligible for campus placements from the 3rd semester of the M.Sc. course. 2. Deperments like Biotechnology,Botany,Zoology have placement support. 3. Companies coming to campus like TCS,Wipro,Deloitte,Biocon,Pfizer. 4. Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
