College management did well to maintain decorum in the college. It provided good platform for development of students can improve in faculty and curriculum.

I took Haryana CET rank around 2000 best among those available with better placements near to Chandigarh had positive reviews from seniors and relatives was considered 3rd best private college in the state when joined in 2005.

Curriculum was as prescribed by kurukshetra University. Very much theory oriented. Lacked options with no optionals available to choose from. More of rote learning. Absence of linkages with market players. Percentage system which puts students at disadvantage in higher studies.

Internship was poor with no companies coming to the campus for offering internship. Students had to find internship opportunities on their own. So stipend issue does not arise. Rather students had to pay for internship.

Placement opportunity was fairly good. Number of companies came even during recession period. Nearly 10-12 companies came. I got 2 placements from the campus itself in top MNCs. Infosys(3.25),TCS,L&T,Keane India,Honeywell DELL etc. Nearly 40% 45% got placed.

College has regularly organised cultural,technical fests. Branch specific fests and weeks were celebrated every year. Participation was very good. Even nearby college s were invited. So whole event was quite educative and good learning experience.

It costed around Rs 2 lacs for the entire course which is reasonable compared to other colleges around. Fees can be increased to get more talented teachers and make whole process more educative.

No scholarship or loan was available from college. Students had to manage funds at their own end. Few managed to get scholarship from government due to their backward status like SC/ST.

Gender ratio was skewed with few females. Hostel nights were there but few. Sports facility were few and those available were not tapped with potential. No discrimination was witnessed regarding caste ethnicity. College maintained strict vigil on such activities.

Hostel costed 35000 per year and food and rooms were reasonable. Lunch was better and dinner worst. Rooms were of decent size. PGs available were ordinary being situated away from city.

No alumni network. Few personal initiative s which lack depth. Seniors were a mixed bag. Few were helpful in respect of extra curricular and studies. While others kept to themselves.

Exams and labs were neither too rigorous nor to lax. Both were in right proportion. Labs lacked faculty which could make the process enriching. One area which should be developed more. Exam had semester system which was fairly convenient.

Average with few teachers with Masters. Few teachers were good and had abilities to develop students. Most of the faculty comprised of recent passouts who themselves lacked knowledge and ability to innovate. Faculty is the area to be worked upon.
