Course Curriculum Overview
B.tech is a four year degree and we have 8 semesters. We also have labs and do the pracitcals on a daily basis to master in our skills. We have a suitable schedule to manage our studies and other co-curricular activities. Different field visits are organised to give students the work exposure.
Placement Experience
Different training and personality development programs are organised for us . They also help us getting internships in good companies. Engineers and different guest lecturers are called to our college so that we can learn from them and implement that in our career. The placement record of our college has been decent.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The college provides education and the other facilities in a very minimum amount , our college fees is more affordable than the rest of the college in our zone. The total fees of B.tech is 46,935 . Similarly for the rest of the course , the fees is feasible and the details are mentioned in the website of the college.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college offers different scholarships for the students who are in need .Aikashree , Oasis, kanyashree ,swami vivekanand merit cum means , chief minister relief fund are schollarships provided by different depatments of state and centre and have different eliigibilitu criteria.
Campus Life
The college encourages extracurricular activities in the college . We have drama club, music club, fitness club , dance club etc and they all participate in the fests and events organised by our as well as other colleges. We also have robotics and photography club which remains active throughout the year.
Admission
Admission is based on WBJEE for b.tech . I had to fill the online application and submit the soft copy of the required documents. The intake for the course was 60 and 50% of the seats are reserved for the students of bengal , I was alloted the reserved seat as i belong to bengal. Faculty
We have a huge faculty and all of them are very experienced and talented. They do not restrict their guidance to academics but they also guide us in our in life in general. They pay attention to each student present in their classroom and they also take extra classes for the students who need it.
