Course Curriculum Overview
Course is very much like a traditional course of BSc but inferior to the likes of colleges like DU which. Lab activities are must and make the course hectic otherwise the course doesn't put up much challenges in general.
Placement Experience
If you are really interested in placements, you should prefer a better option, the other top universities, because here it's very difficult to get any kind of placement. As a norm everyone goes for a PG degree.
Fee Structure And Facilities
In the first year, I had fees of Rs 3300, which is very affordable by any standard. So, fees is very reasonable when you compare the university infrastructure and other lab facilities that might cost much more in reality. See the fees of a private college, you'll realise this.
Campus Life
We have the opportunity to be a part of representing the university in AIU (Association of Indian University) Cultural fest which is very reputed and can go up to the National level. We have a very conducive atmosphere for any co-curricular activity
Admission
The admission in the BSc programme is on a merit basis as per +2 marks. Since the Srinagar Campus is the oldest of the three campuses that HNBGU has and is also considered good for the traditional courses, I opted for this Srinagar Campus of the university.
Faculty
Faculties are learned but with a large batch size to handle about 400 students in the chemistry dept., they find it hard to devote time to students specific query. Although they take your queries very actively in the class.
