The exam was conducted by the college itself before it became part of CET. The pattern of exam was same as for any engineering college.

It was all subjects of Mechanical engineering & as it is almost 20 years since I left college, so difficult to remember the exact names. It included Mechanical drawing, Machine tool Operation & Maintenance, Thermodynamics etc.

Internship was for full one year in our case i.e complete 3rd year. We used to get Rs. 640 as stipend. I did my internship in Hella. It was full one year training in the company itself with nothing to do with college at that time.

Job Opportunities were great at that time. Companies like L&T, Punj Lloyd, Eicher, Escorts, JCB, Voltas, ETA & many more used to visit the college & placement was close to 100%.

It was very feasible at that time. Hardly 3000 per Annum which included the mess fee as well. It was government aided so unlike the private colleges.

There was no scholarship/ loan facility offered by the college. The encouragement was of very minimum level as in those days it was more of concentration on studies & relation between students & faculty was more of fear.

The exams were divided into monthly exams which had some weightage, then internal exams which had some weigtage & in the end of the each year, it was main semester exams which had some weightage. Practicals in workshops had some weightage. Put together the final result of the semester was prepared.

Unable to recall as of now. As mentioned above it has been long so I am not sure if my opinion will actually matter or not but still filling as i opened it & even if some percentage of it is helpful, then its good.
