Remarks
It is the best college in the town for the people who wants to pursue their masters in defence topics. The training in this college is given so nicely that nobody gets bored and pay full attention. Defense is the need of the time which has to be fulfilled by our country and this college is fulfilling that need by educating people in the matter of defence.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is science (Physics) oriented as M.TECH comes under science background. There are total four semesters in which the students also get practical training and for which the exams are also conducted.
Placement Experience
The placements are very few in numbers. Job opportunities in the outside world can be challenging as the course being provided by diat is more into defence but the students get internships by AICTE with monthly stipend of Rs. 12,000 for the entire M.TECH course.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee of the course is expensive. The fee for one year is Rs. 1.45 lakhs and for second year Rs.1.3 lakhs so, the total fee a student has to pay is Rs. 2.75 lakhs. Apart from it if any student wants hostel facility then he/she has to pay fee for it differently from the fee of course.
Campus Life
Many events are celebrated by the college which can not be skipped like Republic day, Independence day, the biggest event of the town i.e. Ganesh Chaturthi. Extra curricular activities like waste management, different types of awareness are conducted.
Admission
For taking admission in this college the student must enroll himself/herself in diat entrance exam named JATE. The student must clear the entrance exam. The minimum eligibility to appear in this exam is that the student must have completed the graduation.
Faculty
The faculties are experienced in academics as well as in industry. Many teachers are from different sectors like Army officers, IPS officers, Airforce officers, Navy officers, etc. They all are retired from their jobs and now serving the students with their knowledge and experience.
