Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very well constructed, keeping in mind that the students should have a hectic- free study schedule, the course is of three years, and hence as there are two semesters in a year, the course has total of six semesters.

The college offers various placement opportunities to the students in the university, and the companies offer a good amount of stipend, this is a really great opportunity to start our career.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very reasonable and can be easily afforded by students coming from different economic and cultural backgrounds. The fee for one year is around INR 1,237 so the fee for the entire three year course is around INR 3,710.

Campus Life

We have various extracurricular activities in our campus, There are many events organised in the campus like, cultural fests, inter-college competitions, exhibitions etc and these events are all organised by the students under the supervision of the faculty members.

Admission

To get admission in this college, I had to first apply to the college by filling the application form which is present on the college website. then I submitted the marks scored in the bachelor's degree, then the students who were selected had to come for an interview.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
