Course Curriculum Overview
The B.Tech course curriculum is one which focuses on teaching us various nuances of the subject. The theoretical part is important, but that's not all we learn. We do various practical experiments in labs, too and assignments right through.
Placement Experience
There is a placement cell in the college, but the placement opportunities have been below par. Our college is not very old by standards, being established in 2010 only, so the placements are not ideal, but the cell has been working hard and we're hopeful that by the time we graduate, there will be decent opportunities available
Fee Structure And Facilities
The total tuition fee for the 4 year course is ? 46,935. This is very low as compared to other Colleges' fees for the same course. The bifurcation of the fee is as follows: ?12600 for the first semester, then ?4905 each for 7 semesters
Campus Life
There are events that take place in the college, like sports day, and also the labs that we have are quite good, too. However, the college has a majority of people from West Bengal, which is understandable with 50% reservations, so there's no complete diversity.
Admission
50% of the seats in our college is reserved for West Bengal students, the rest for the students in other States. I am not from West Bengal, so my admission was done on the basis of JEE mains counselling
Faculty
The faculty of college is a mixed batch. Some are really good who make you learn things in class only, whereas others lack some experience. But that doesn't mean they do not have ample knowledge of the subject they teach. All of them are really helpful too, even in assignments and class.
